Position of Ambassador Coach for ICF Québec for 2016-2017
We are pleased to invite you to participate in ICF Québec’s 2016-2017 publicity campaign and to contribute to its promotional efforts by becoming a volunteer Ambassador Coach. We believe that by calling upon our active members present in as many regions as possible, we will allow our profession to increase its visibility and credibility, in addition to promote the added-value of coaching offered by certified coaches.
Please note that we are not seeking to hire traditional and social media experts. We are looking for ten (10) to twelve (12) volunteers, certified coaches, who are ICF members. Those selected will receive a 2-hour free training session to help them fulfill their roles as Ambassador. We want to promote our members and make sure that our message is conveyed with success, in a professional manner. To do so, we have developed mandatory and optional criteria that will be taken into account when making our final selection.
WHAT IS THE ROLE OF THE AMBASSADOR COACH?
Following established objectives, represent ICF Québec during media interviews; TV, radio, newspapers, blogs and on social media such as Facebook Live, videos and conferences for the year 2016-2017. The work could also include writing copy, articles or blogs.
WHAT IS THE DURATION OF THE MANDATE?
The mandate is for one (1) year, from December 2016 to December 2017.
WHAT ARE THE SELECTION CRITERIA?
Certain criteria are mandatory whereas others are optional. The mandatory criteria are listed down below and are listed in the application form.
The optional criteria which are considered assets are the following:
- Being active on social media could definitely be an asset. Please mention all pages and accounts which would help us understand your online profile.
- Your geographic location could also be a determining factor since we are looking to be present in numerous regions.
- Fluency in both French and English is an asset.
HOW WILL THE SELECTION BE MADE?
CK7, the marketing firm we are working with for this advertising campaign has put together the criteria in conjunction with the Communications Committee. However, CK7 is responsible for reviewing all forms received, the candidates’ selection interviews and the final selection process.
- Selection process begins: November 17, 2016
- Final selection: November 28, 2016
- Training tour and video briefs shoot: December 2-16, 2016
- Interview and conference opportunities: From January to December 2017
Should your candidacy be selected, you will be notified personally and a letter of agreement will be remitted to you for signature. Other participants will be informed of the successful candidates’ identification via our website.
