Stories & Metaphors in Coaching
"Storytelling reveals meaning without committing the error of defining it." --Hannah Arendt
Marina will present on the topic of storytelling and the use of metaphors in life coaching, and how they can help us connect to people, experiences, concepts and ourselves.
We will look at
- Why stories help engage your clients and provide deeper insight
- How using metaphors helps visualize complex concepts
- How to use storytelling as a part of group coaching
- What it means to guide a discussion through stories without defining it, and how storytelling can help us propel insights in a more gentle way.
