Building Personal Resilience
Resilience is a popular topic as well as a much needed competence in times when drastic changes become the norm. As a coach, we not only need Resilience for ourselves but also often help our clients build their own. However, Resilience is often mistaken for strength or positive thinking and can be perceived as an innate capability to power through tough times, or simply too difficult to cultivate when a situation is particularly overwhelming.
In this session we will explore the characteristics of Resilience in relation to Change Management and will discuss simple steps and tools to build Personal Resilience, based on principles from the Heartmath Institute and the speaker’s experience as a facilitator on the subject with Lee Hecht Harrison.
