Influential Leadership and Emotional Intelligence:Build Relationships, Foster Trust and Influence Positively
Do we all influence in the same way? What are the pitfalls to avoid in a situation of influence? How can we help our coachees to develop their own influence?
Being able to demonstrate influential leadership means being able to lead in a way that has a positive and unifying effect. This requires the ability to develop and maintain relationships that are mutually satisfying and that foster trust. The ability to exert influence effectively, even when there is no established hierarchical relationship, thus becomes a key competence for us as coaches as well as for our coachees.
Join us for this interactive workshop and exchange with your peers on the theme of influence and emotional intelligence.
Together we will:
- Learn about five unique influencing styles: Rationalizing, Asserting, Negotiating, Inspiring and Bridging;
- Discuss best opportunities to flex our influence style to address a variety of situations;
- Explore key emotional intelligence competencies, drawn from the EQ-i 2.0® model, that support influential leadership.
