English Activities Committeepar Edward Rudick
The fall brings a flurry of activities for coaches and the EAC has been busy creating activities for coaches in Québec and in fact all over Canada, with the Cross Canada Webinar Series.
ICF Québec Coaches Breakfast:
We kicked off September with Britta Heinzen, who presented a great workshop on Mind Mapping. Those present advanced their knowledge on how to use this wonderful tool for themselves and to offer it to their clients to help them be more focused and more creative at the same time.
Michel Daigle introduced ‘’The Right Think FOR COACHES’’ to all participants in October, and how to use his new innovative book, which he wrote with the input of Tom Trifaux, a former player with the Canadian Football League. The book is actually a workbook and a catalyst for introspection and authenticity, which are key aspects of being a coach and, in fact, of being a good leader and human being. Michel was gracious enough to give everyone attending a copy of the book. Thanks Michel!
Dr. Irena Obrien will be presenting on November 9th on the subject of ‘’Resilience’’. Irena has always enlightened us on new research and trends in neuroscience and how we can use this information for ourselves, and, for our clients.
We will complete 2018 with Connie Pacifico, who has not presented to our group before but is a dynamic and professional individual with lots of experience.
Be sure to regularly check out the ICF Québec website, by clicking on CALENDRIER and then ACTIVITÉS for all activities.
