Conference 2025: community spirit at its peakpar Comité congrès

What a rich harvest we have from the recent 2025 Congress!

The community is growing

In his opening remarks, Stéphane Coulier, President of ICF Québec, asked the audience to raise their hands if they were first-time attendees. Some 25% of the audience raised their hands. Interesting and stimulating.

A record number of attendees: 237 congress participants and exhibitors were present at the Université de Sherbrooke, and some ten virtual participants, given the capacity of our new premises.

Let's talk about our plenary moments:

🔹 Chantal Petitclerc opened the conference with a powerful and inspiring testimony. She spoke of attitude, passion and determination, resilience and leadership, with an authenticity that touched us all deeply. Ms. Petitclerc reminded us that limits are often those we impose on ourselves.

🔹 The "Great Harvest" workshop, brilliantly facilitated by Pascale Dufresne, enabled us to pool our learning and define together a common vision of what we wish to sow and cultivate TOGETHER, as coaches in the spirit of a sustainable future. A moment of collective connection, rich in emotion, openness and hope.

🔹 Frédéric Dion's closing talk, a breath of energy and audacity, reminded us that to live fully is to choose freedom, courage and the present moment. He invited us to break free from survival by using our inner superpowers and aligning our actions.

🔹 Throughout these two days, graphic facilitator Mylene Choquette captured the essence of each conference and workshop with talent and sensitivity. Her illustrations were true visual anchors, extending the impact of the words.
Like Asterix, Philippe Lacroix, our favorite presenter, fell into the magic potion; his contagious smile and dynamism, his observations and pertinent questions ensured that the event ran smoothly.

Many thanks to

To the speakers and workshop leaders, who generously presented twelve highly interactive, sometimes unsettling and, above all, inspiring workshops.

To all our supporters: Alexandra Salerno, events manager at the Université de Sherbrooke, Marie-Christine Boulais and the entire team at caterer Avec plaisirs, Alexis Antesea, audio-visual technician, Michèle Jean and Anne Villeneuve from Groupe Association plus, Nathalie Gauthier, new employee at ICF Québec, Louise  Hurteau from Luluwebs, François Pilon from Buzz Photo.

To you, dear participants, thank you for your confidence year after year and for your contribution to this inspiring collective experience.

Thank you for completing the online evaluations. Your comments and good ideas will help us to align and concoct the 2026 edition.

We invite you to view the photo album on the ICF Québec website. The smiles speak volumes about the energy of this great gathering

You'll find the presentations by the moderators and the speakers in the conference proceedings. We'd like to thank them all for their generosity. You will be informed by e-mail as soon as they are available.

Thank you to our exhibitors and sponsors for your support in this 2025 edition. We look forward to welcoming you again in 2026.

Thank you to our volunteers for your invaluable contribution throughout the event.

In the June issue of Coach Québec, we'll be able to share the highlights of the evaluation results, give you some statistics about the carbon-neutral certification of our event, and other details.

Together, let's continue to co-create a future rooted in humanity.

Thank you and see you next year! Yes, we will! We'll soon be starting work on the 2026 edition.
