The John Molson School of Business building is located right in front of the Guy Metro station (exit East on Guy) or follow the tunnel underground from the Metro
Peter Hawkins will share the findings of his global research on Tomorrow’s Leadership and the Necessary Revolution in Leadership Development and will show how leadership is moving from the individual ‘heroic’ leader to a more collective and collaborative leadership. Peter will discuss how this requires developing collective leadership teams and coaching the connections, not just between individuals but between teams and their stakeholders.
Peter will also share some of his practical experience with High Performing Boards and Leadership Teams. He will look at how leadership and leadership development are changing in the 21st century and discuss how leadership teams need to respond to this, focusing on:
- A little background on the research process
- Tomorrow’s World – how it will be different?
- What will this will require from Tomorrow’s Leadership?
- What are the implications for today’s leadership development?
- Where are the best green shoots happening in leadership development that it is fit for purpose for the coming times?
- How the findings apply to leadership in the different sectors.]
PRESENTER: Dr. Peter Hawkins
Dr. Hawkins is a Professor of Leadership at Henley Business School, is the Emeritus Chairman of Bath Consultancy Group, the Chairman of Renewal Associates, and a leading consultant, coach, writer and researcher. He is a thought leader in executive coaching, team coaching and board development and is the author of a number of books and papers.
